Our Occupational (OT) Therapy services for children and teens with autism are grounded in evidence-based, neuro-affirming practices, providing support across home, school, and community settings.

Personalised Intervention Plans: Tailored to each child’s cognitive, sensory, motor, and daily living skills, underpinned by best practice autism interventions.

Comprehensive Assessments: Standardized and non-standardized assessments, including Sensory Processing Assessments, to address individual needs and provide a holistic understanding of each child’s strengths and challenges.

Sensory Processing and Emotional Regulation Intervention: Individualized strategies based on sensory integration principles and emotional regulation techniques to support self-regulation, focus, and participation in various settings.

Positive Behaviour Support (PBS): Strategies implemented across home, school, and community environments to address challenging behaviours and promote social and emotional development.

Collaborative Support: Close collaboration with families, educators, and professionals to ensure care aligns with PBS and family-centred approaches.

Functional Capacity Assessments: Detailed evaluations for school-aged children, supporting NDIS and educational requirements with a strength-based approach.

Schools can access services to provide OT assessment of children in the early years of education.

Autism Inclusive provides registered Occupational Therapists who specialise in working in campaigns with autistic children up to 13 years of age. Normally these are NDIS funded.
